Human skeletal muscle progenitor cells are derived from whole muscle that has been dissociated into single cells, cultured and purified using differential adhesion. Human skeletal muscle progenitor cells are from a single donor. These cells enable researchers to have purified populations of progenitors which may be terminally differentiated into myocytes. Human skeletal muscle progenitor cells may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or regenerative medicine studies in normal or diseased systems.
