Original line: AKR/1a murine T cell line; Tissue: thymus; Tumor: thymoma; The mutant Lyt-2 cells were selected out by magnetic bead separation; Original line: AKR/1a murine T cell line. Useful in the study of assembly and transport of Lyt-2/3 antigen in the cell surface or to define the regions of Lyt-2/3 interacting with the corresponding antibodies and with MHC class I molecules.
