This line was derived from the X-ray resistant L5178-R line; The cells are sensitive to X-rays, ultraviolet radiation, heat and some potential anti neoplastic drugs (e.G., Cis-PAD); The parental cell line was derived from the L5178 thymic lymphoma induced by methylcholanthrene in a DBA/2 mouse; Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox)Tumorigenecity: yes, in DBA/2 mice (but only weakly)Isoenzyme: Histopathology: lymphoma; Chemically inducedSubculture: Split ratio: Media change: Reverse transcritase: Production.
